Pheasant Lures stories Big Orange On Saturday after work I decided to go for a quick fishing session so without thinking I hitched the trailer to the car with the kayak and set off to the beautiful river Shannon, when I got there I didn’t have much time literally 3 hours of fishing max but it still didn’t discourage me after an hour or maybe two hours of fishing I found that the fish were very sluggish some delicate bites and one was following a plum pheasant, I thought that nothing would come of it that day when at one point I noticed a small fish floating down I put on the largest pheasant in orange and threw it there I literally turned the reel handle three times and a powerful strike hit
it paid off to be vigilant by the water and watch the water at the end of the rod a beautiful Irish pike of the river very strong after a beautiful fight the fish allowed itself to be gently unhooked to be photographed and released in very good condition. my conclusion is that in spinning fishing you should never give up, you never know when the biggest ones will decide to take your bait, so it’s worth fishing and being patient. This river pike was caught on Big orange 180.g. 50cm.
